Year 3 WEMT
Our Year 3 WEMT program offers a dynamic and structured approach to learning, blending Writing, English, Mathematics, and Thinking Skills into one cohesive course. Designed to foster academic growth and early exam readiness, this course introduces newly developed and updated modules that encourage consistent weekly effort. With a strong focus on foundational skills, the program equips students with the tools and confidence needed to excel in their studies and begin preparing for the OC Placement Test with purpose and direction.
Writing
The Writing module focuses on developing clear and effective writing structures, while also nurturing students’ critical thinking and reasoning skills. Through targeted exercises, students learn to organise their ideas logically and express them with clarity and purpose.
English
The English component enhances reading fluency and comprehension through a range of engaging texts. Students will build the skills necessary to interpret meaning, identify key information, and confidently answer multiple-choice questions.
Mathematics
Mathematics lessons provide a solid grasp of essential concepts, theories, and formulas. Students will strengthen their problem-solving abilities and apply mathematical reasoning with accuracy and confidence.
Thinking Skills
The Thinking Skills module challenges students with a variety of logical reasoning and analytical questions. This component sharpens their ability to interpret information, assess assumptions, and construct well-reasoned arguments under timed conditions.
