English

The 6+ English program aims to equip students with the analytical and writing skills needed to interpret and respond to a wide range of texts. Students will develop the ability to read critically, identify key themes and techniques, and express their insights through well-structured essays and extended responses. These skills are foundational not only in English but also across subjects such as Science, History, Geography, PDHPE, Commerce, Drama, and Visual Arts.

Mathematics

The 6+ Mathematics course reinforces core Year 6 concepts while introducing essential Year 7 topics to give students a confident head start. Through a variety of engaging problem-solving activities, students deepen their understanding of mathematical principles and develop flexible thinking strategies that are crucial for success in high school mathematics.

Year 6+ Program

Lesson

Each week, students attend theory lessons that introduce new concepts and build foundational skills. Teachers use lectures, multimedia, and discussions to engage students, encouraging active participation and note-taking.

Weekly Homework & S.O.Q

After class, students complete homework and the Special Online Quiz (S.O.Q) to reinforce learning. Tasks may include reading, writing, and problem-solving. Reviewing and memorising key content is essential for retention.

Watch V.O.D

Students access Video On Demand (VOD) to review lessons at their own pace. They can pause, rewind, and revisit content to clarify concepts and strengthen understanding.

Term Test

At the end of each term, students sit a comprehensive test covering all topics taught. It assesses progress, highlights strengths, and identifies areas for improvement.
